Crescent Siesta KeyIt extends south from Siesta Key Public Beach to an area called the Point of Rocks. It is an absolutely gorgeous 2 mile walk. Unlike other beaches, the sand is harder, which allows easy walking and even bike riding down by the shore. It boasts the same fine, famous, 100% quartz, powdery white sand as Siesta Key Beach. It also overlooks the same azure water with stunning sunsets included, and Crescent is more peaceful and private. The only down side is it has very few public accesses to it, and even less parking. That is why most of the people you will see are vacationing at one of the beachfront accommodations. To vacation at one of these you need to stay from the 5700 block of Midnight Pass to the 6300 block. This area has a large number of Siesta Key condos, homes, and hotels to rent. At the southern tip is the Point of Rocks. It is known as one of the top snorkeling areas on the west coast of Florida. It's common to see a crab or beautiful school of fish swimming right by.
